Dr. Lim is a native of the greater Seattle, Washington area. He did his undergraduate studies at the University of Washington. He received his optometric education at the University of California at Berkeley. In addition to training at UC-Berkeley's Meredith Morgan Eye Clinic, Dr. Lim interned at Travis Air Force Base in Fairfield, California. He also completed an internship at the American Lake Veteran's Hospital in Tacoma, Washington.
Dr. Lim practices with a focus on primary eye care. He has special interests in hard-to-fit contact lenses, diabetic and glaucoma eye diseases, children's vision, and co-management of cataracts and refractive surgery. Dr. Lim also can speak Mandarin-Chinese and Cambodian. Recently, Dr. Lim has taught himself enough Russian and Spanish to better communicate with some of his non-English speaking patients. Dr. Lim has been at I Care Optical since 2002 and has been the owner since 2006. In his free time, Dr. Lim enjoys basketball, running, cycling, snowboarding, gardening, and spending time with his wife and two young daughters. |
Dr. Long Dao received his Doctor of Optometry from the State University of New York College of Optometry. He completed a residency in primary care, vision therapy and low vision rehabilitation at Northport VA Medical Center. Dr. Dao has experience in diagnosing and managing a wide array of ocular diseases with clinical training at Northport VA Medical Center (Northport, NY), Woodhull Medical and Mental Health Center (Brooklyn, NY) and Fromer Eye Centers (Bronx, NY). He has well rounded optometric experience from ranging from primary care, to specialty ocular pathology and co-management, contact lens, low vision and vision therapy. Dr. Dao is a member of Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Society, and has presented a poster at the American Academy of Optometry and delivered a COPE approved lecture. He is fluent in conversational Spanish.
Dr. Dao was born and raised in New York, but has since relocated to the Pacific Northwest. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and toddler, working out, and constantly exploring new food places try. |
Dr. Nguyen graduated from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago and completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Calgary in Canada. His training included interning at the Jamaica Plains VA Hospital in Boston, Mid Florida Eye Center, Illinois Eye Institute as well as Davis Eye Associates in North Carolina. He started his career practicing in Michigan and since then has relocated to the Pacific Northwest. He is able to speak conversational Vietnamese. He enjoys spending his time helping patients and has a focus on primary eyecare.
In his spare time, Dr Nguyen enjoys playing in local Ice Hockey Leagues, working on home improvement projects and spending his time with his wife and 2 young kids. |
